Carl Everett: Played last year for the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League, an independent minor league. This year Long Island traded his rights to the Newark Bears, but he has not yet signed. He is now 37 years old.

Jon Garland: Arizona Diamondbacks
Willie Harris: Washington Nationals
Dustin Hermanson: Retired
Orlando Hernandez: With New York Mets last year but did not play due to injury. He is unsigned this year. He claims to be 40 years old, but he is believed to actually be 44.
Tadahito Iguchi: Went back to Japan to play for the Chiba Lotte Marines.
