The Arboretum in October
If you live in the Chicagoland area, you should already know that the Morton Arboretum is an incredible place thatís worth a visit for anyone who loves the outdoors. Of course the crowds always appear along with the fall colors, but the Arboretum is much more than just autumn leaves. For those of you with young children who may not be ready for long hikes, the children’s gardens are absolutely outstanding. Their Schulenberg Prairie is like a walk through our areaís ecological history. And of course, for an amateur nature photographer like me, the place is basically like crack. Here are a few of the nicer shots I took there this October.
